Kyrle’s disease belongs to a group of perforating dermatoses. Its etiology is not well-defined, but it has been associated with chronic conditions such as type 2 diabetes, chronic liver disease, and, primarily, chronic kidney disease requiring renal replacement therapy. Clinically, it manifests in a polymorphic manner, ranging from keratotic papules to brown plaques with a central keratotic plug, and even crateriform lesions. It frequently appears on the lower extremities with an ascending distribution. We present the case of a 64-year-old woman with a history of type 2 diabetes, systemic hypertension, and chronic kidney disease treated with peritoneal dialysis, with histopathological diagnosis of Kyrle’s disease.
